I’m passionate about advancing design theory and practice toward positive societal outcomes. I explore this through writing, speaking, and community organizing around topics such as ethics, responsibility, and systemics in design.
A workshop about the “design process” from 1960 to present, theory of design, and how we can reevaluate design processes from contemporary perspectives.
What does it mean to “reform” versus “dismantle” systems within professional design that lead to inequity or social harm?
My book chapter, “Information Architecture in the Anthropocene”, has been published in Advances in Information Architecture (2021).
